The Livermore City Council set a goal to reduce the
garbage sent to the landfill by 75%. Livermore
Sanitation's programs and services are being offered
to help achieve that goal. To succeed, we need your
help.
Here's what you can do:
- Buy recycled products
- Buy products with limited packaging and packaging made of recycled materials
- Use durable items, like reusable utensils and dishes, instead of single-use items
- Invest in reusable bags
- Make the most of our convenient recycling and organics programs
- Reduce paper waste by receiving/paying bills electronically and by stopping junk mail.
